I am part of a small ensemble that plays at yoga classes, meditations and similar events. We currently consist of sitar (me) and didjeridu and are adding a guitarist. We're looking for a tabla player/percussionist to compliment what we're doing. Greetings everyone, For those of you who may not be familiar with posting on a forum (this one looks a bit different than others), you must be logged in to post. You can do this on the left sidebar on the main homepage (check the "remember me" box if you don't want to do this each time), then click on the 'Fourm' tab, click on the Forum of your choice (like this one, Drummers Lounge), then simply enter in your topic title and text, then click the 'Send Post' button. Easy peasy.

I just want to take a second and welcome everyone here to BADAP. This is a site that's been up and down over the past few years, but I think that I've finally got the site looking the way I want and a good forum software in place, so feel free to post like crazy. A little bit about myself, my name is Kerry Stamps, and I have been playing drums for the last 27 years. I have been in several rock bands over the years, the most recent being <a href='http://www.mobiusdonut.com'>Mobius Donut</a>. I am currently in a brand new band which our singer describes as "Jeff Buckley meets Black Sabbath". I will soon be hauling my 6 piece Gretsch Catalina out of the basement and cleaning it up for upcoming shows. Again, welcome to BADAP. I look forward to seeing more posts here.
